Gone travelling: Nicole goes to India

Who doesn’t want to get away to some exotic destination once in a while? Today, we’re starting a series that takes you travelling with 7100 Islands friends who are great enough to lend us photos of their getaways. First stop: India, with yoga teacher and The Beachbaby clothing entrepreneur Nicole Serrano as our guide.

Nicole says: “The unfading beauty of the Taj Mahal. Rabindranath Tagore could not have said it any better, ‘A tear drop that glistened spotlessly bright on the cheeks of time.'”

“Past the golden walls of the only living fort in the world, in Jaisalmer.”
“Life in ruins – within the Brahmin-blue city of Jodhpur. “
“The sacred city of Pushkar is alive with the lights and sounds of the annual Camel Fair.”
“One of the most amazing things about travel is not just the way you get to visit another world but its ability to transport you back in time. This is 16th-century fairytale palace of Bundi. Rudyard Kipling wrote, “Bundi Palace even in broad daylight, is such a palace as men build for themselves in uneasy dreams – the work of goblins rather than men.”
We hope you enjoyed the trip!
